Aikomi is a Japanese digital therapy company developing tools to support person centered dementia care based on the concept of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST). Our AI-enabled technology platform generates personalized multi sense cognitive stimulation programs for use by families and care givers with people with dementia to improve communication, relationships and QoL. Aikomi has launched its first commercial service in Japan to support families caring for people with dementia, and is developing services for care staff and care facilities. In addition, Aikomi is conducting clinical research in order to develop a regulatory approved digital therapeutic for dementia.

Alterpacks, a Singapore based start-up, upcycles food disposed by manufacturers to create a replacement to plastic food containers.  Their proprietary technology, uses brewers spent grains, made up of malt and cereals, that is disposed after processing milo or beer, to create bio-pellets and bio-sheet products.  Alterpacks pellets may be used in standard manufacturing machines replacing petroleum-based resins.  The spent grains products made from bio-sheets have received US FDA and Singapore Food Agency certification and will be home compostable.   Alterpacks has collaborated with the United Nations Development Programme in Indonesia to combat plastic pollution and are piloting their containers across APAC.
